My new love - Marc Jacobs handbag

I used to have a little yellow purse, which I had received from my boyfriend for my birthday. I loved that handbag, if you saw me, you also saw my little yellow bag. But this summer something terrible happened, I found out that my boyfriend had cheated on me many times, we were more than two years together and I thought he was the perfect guy for me, but that was one big lie. So I couldn’t use my favorite handbag anymore, it made ​​me way too much thinking about my ex boyfriend. That is why I went looking for a handbag that could replace it and then I found the perfect replacement, a yellow Marc Jacobs handbag, it was an instant love at first sight.

Last week, I went a little bit crazy with shopping nail polishes, I bought 18 nail polishes!!

Ok, I know it’s insane, but I really do have a problem with choosing and when I can’t choose, I just buy them all (if somebody knows a solution for this problem, please let me know ;) ).

Luckily, it’s almost my birthday, so my mom paid a part of my new items (Thank you, mom!), she calls it an early birthday gift.

'sales' part 1

Today I was studying (I've got exams this month)
but it didn't go very well this afternoon.
Maybe it was because my cat was always asking for my attention (so cute)
or because I'm tired off studying art history, that's also an option.

So I decided to go shopping (I just went to one store in my neighbourhood)
and I only bought 2 items,
one cardigan and a skirt (both from the new collection, I didn't find something in the sales)

Beauty Trends 2011

Hi,

today I'm going to have it about the beauty trends of 2011,
I did a little bit of research and now I'm going to tell you about what I found out about the upcoming trends.

Next season the clothes are going to be very colourful and that's also what we're going to see in make-up, a lot of different colors. From bright pastel to eye-popping eyeshadow colours, it's all possible.
Make-up can now also be much more 'spontaneous', you may apply your eyeshadow with you finger, so that the lines are less tight, and use only one colour on your eyes. The make-up of 2011 is going to look al lot like it was in the seventies.

OPI Burlesque Simmer & shimmer first impression

Yesterday I couldn't wait to try out one of my new OPI nail polishes,
so I chose the Simmer & Shimmer.
I really adore the colors that the glitters have,
they aren't only blue but the polish also has red and gold glitters in it,
I think that's very special and unique.
So I tried it on and it didn't disappoint me when I saw the polish on my nails
but than I was curious about how long it would stay on my nails,
because all of the glitter nail polishes that I own don't stay that long perfect.

This morning I woke up and the polish was still perfect
and I was really excited about that,
but then I took a shower and afterwards I saw that 3 nails were damaged
and that was a little bit disappointing.

Now I did those 3 nails again with the simmer & shimmer nail polish
and now I also used a base coat underneath the glitters.
I'm curious about the difference between using a base coat and only using 2 layers polish with one layer top coat.

OPI Burlesque & Swiss

Today I bought 4 OPI nail polishes,
3 from the Burlesque collection (inspired by the movie 'Burlesque' with Cher and Christina Aguilera) and one from the Swiss collection.

the 3 shades of Burlesque that I bought: Take The Stage (a gorgeous and unusual reddish bronze), Glow up already (meadow green-gold glitter) and Simmer & Shimmer (a beautiful turquoise and electric blue glitter)

And now I'm waiting till the Katy Perry collection comes out this month (I don't know the exact date that it will arrive in the shops in Belgium, I asked it in the shop where I bought those polishes but even they didn't know it)
